Criteria — "Deterrence hawk": verifiable advocacy of strengthened deterrence (faster arms sales, Taiwan visits, pro-Taiwan bills). "Conditional / transactional": supportive but demands payment or burden-sharing, or recalculates the commitment via chip reshoring. "Anti-intervention / anti-aid": voted against the Indo-Pacific supplemental (2024, H.R. 8036) or for striking the $500M Taiwan aid (2025, H.Amdt. 53, failed 6–421). "Unclear": insufficient public record. Faction markers follow the minimal-verifiability principle of the project's roster documents (Pew, Faith on the Hill 2025; Ballotpedia, House Freedom Caucus; congressional roll calls).
